PETITION FOR FEEDBACK FORUMS
We the undersigned believe it's time to communicate with television broadcasters and to question the pervasive violence, stereotyping, lack of diverse perspectives, and limited coverage of the critical issues of our time. By law, television broadcasters are required "to serve the public interest." Therefore, we call upon broadcasters to support regularly televised, "Citizen Feedback Forums" in prime-time that enable a representative sample of citizens to communicate with television broadcasters regarding the kinds and qualities of programming will best serve the public interest.
